Why we built it
Teams kept running into the same wall. They'd invest in Power BI, build reports their business genuinely relied on, then discover that sharing them widely meant buying a licence for every single viewer. For organisations serving external clients, or anyone with more readers than authors, the maths stopped making sense. Reports that should have been everywhere ended up locked to a handful of people.
We built BI Portal to remove that barrier. One branded portal, every report you need to share, no licence for the clients you share with. What used to be a cost problem becomes a simple, predictable monthly fee.
What we believe
Reporting should be easy to share and easy to trust. We don't ask you to rebuild anything or change how your analysts work; you keep authoring in Power BI exactly as you do today. Our job is delivery: getting the right numbers to the right people, showing each viewer only what they're permitted to see, and doing it all under your name rather than ours. Pricing should be honest and predictable, so you can add viewers without watching a meter. And your brand belongs to you, all the way down to the domain your clients visit.
Built on Microsoft Azure
BI Portal runs on Microsoft Azure, which means the parts you'd rather not think about, hosting, patching, uptime and scaling, are handled for you. Every report is protected by role-based access and row-level security, so people and clients see only the data meant for them. As your audience grows from tens to thousands of viewers, the platform grows with you, without a new project each time.
